Unemployment Accident Sickness

HOW COULD YOU COPE IF YOU COULDN'T WORK?

Unemployment , accident and sickness are real threats and can affect any one of us at any time.

It is important to ask yourself:

'How would I cope if lost my income due to unemployment, accident or sickness?'

ARE YOU AT RISK?

Unfortunately, yes - the following statistics speak for themselves:

You are 10 times more likely to be off work through serious illness than to die before the age of 65 (source: M&G Re statistics). It is estimated that only 30% of people with mortgages would qualify for Income Support.

WOULD THE STATE HELP?

Unfortunately, even if you did qualify for State Benefits, the amount would probably only represent a small percentage of your normal income.

YOUR MONTHLY OUTGOINGS

Consider the monthly outgoings you have and need to maintain:

  • Mortgage
  • Loans/credit cards
  • Regular household bills
  • Food
  • Running a car
  • Children's clothing

The above are just examples - would you be able to pay for these if you lost your income?

INCOME PROTECTION - AN IDEAL SOLUTION

You can receive a monthly income should you become unemployed or be unable to work due to accident or sickness.

The payments from BIBA's Unemployment Accident and Sickness Insurance can be paid for up to 2 years. This will help you to maintain your lifestyle and assist in getting you back on your feet.
